Side Effects of Being Healthy and Fit
Health and fitness isn’t all about being fit. Sure, having a toned body and maybe some abs is nice and all, but being healthy and fit impacts more of the world and enhances more of your life than you can even imagine. That is until you experience it for yourself.
1. You’ll make overall better decisions.
One of the most important changes I have seen in myself and others that make health and fitness a priority in their life is they begin to make better decisions overall. It all begins with a small decision of making sure you attend a workout. Then because you feel good about working out you make a better meal choice. Because you made a better meal choice you take a good risk towards something you love. Because you worked out, made a good meal choice and took a good risk, you treat others well and try to make a positive impact on their life and the story goes on.
You do this because you are consistently making good willful decisions and boosting your serotonin and in turn your self-esteem. You are taking time to make yourself better which motivates you to push yourself further, make good decisions in all aspects of life and jin turn help others do the same.
2. You help save the environment.
Another huge thing I notice from those who take their health and fitness seriously is that they help save the environment; because they are more health conscious.

Do you ever notice an organic or non-gmo wrapper littered along the side of the road? Me neither. This is because those of us who really care about the wellbeing of ourself also care about the wellbeing of others. The more seriously we take our health the cleaner our bodies and minds become, and in turn the more things we want to do to make our environment better. Same with our mental wellbeing. Have you ever noticed someone with severe anxiety or depression has a cluttered home or a bad relationships with people? Mental health is just as important as physical health when it comes to making better decisions in life and creating a better environment. And it all begins with taking the time to make your health a priority to make those better decisions. The phrase “your inside world reflects your outside world” couldn’t be more true. Test it for yourself.
3. You’ll be kind to others.
The healthier you become inside, free from addictive foods, drugs and poisionous chemicals, the more kind you become.
Going back to your inside reflects your outside, there is something about caring about your overall wellbeing, others wellbeing and the environment that creates a more kind human being. And there is nothing better than a kind person. Real health creates empathy. Knowing where you came from and knowing what not caring about your health does to your body, mind and soul makes you a better person.
This is something you can only witness through practicing health and wellness for a long period yourself.
